Meet Our Team
Founder of Safe Haven Oklahoma
Roy Dean Williams
Hello Everyone,
I am proud to introduce myself as the Founder and President of Safe Haven Oklahoma. My journey in criminal justice began in 2006 when I took on the role of a fugitive investigator in the bail industry, which ignited my passion for serving my community. In 2018, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, complemented by a minor in Criminology and Constitutional Studies from the University of Oklahoma. That pivotal year marked the start of my law enforcement career with the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office, and shortly thereafter, I joined the Carter County Sheriff's Office, successfully completing my full-time Police Officer certifications through Oklahoma CLEET. My commitment to this field deepened further in 2021 when I obtained my Master's degree in Criminal Justice, focusing on Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation, alongside a Master's certification in Law Enforcement Drug Policy Management. At the Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police Department, I earned a Special Law Enforcement Commission from the Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs, reinforcing my dedication to upholding justice. Additionally, I serve as a vendor and special investigator in federal criminal cases for the United States Public Defender's Office at the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Oklahoma. My expertise extends to the bail industry, where I am recognized as a fugitive apprehension expert and bail bondsman. Together, we can continue to build a safer, more just community for all.
